The City of Seaside will be hosting its first “Oaxaca by the Sea” celebration, a traditional Oaxacan celebration, on Sunday, August 8th at Laguna Grande Park. This free community celebration will feature live entertainment, food for sale, craft vendors, and a free vaccination booth. Festivities will begin at 10am and go until 5pm. For your safety, we recommend to wear face masks, social distance and hand sanitize at the event.

The event will start by a welcoming ceremony Palenke Arts’ ballet folklórico dancers will perform promptly at 11 am

Please note that there will be limited parking onsite for the public, and we are encouraging residents to use alternate forms of transportation to attend the event.

La Ciudad de Seaside será el anfitrión de su primera celebración “Oaxaca a Lado del Mar”, una celebración tradicional oaxaqueña, el domingo 8 de agosto en el Parque Laguna Grande. Esta celebración comunitaria gratuita contará con entretenimiento en vivo, venta de comida, vendedores de artesanías y una estación de vacunación gratuita. Las festividades comenzarán a las 10 de la mañana y terminarán hasta las 5 de la tarde. Por su seguridad, recomendamos usar mascarillas, mantener distancia social y usar desinfectante de manos en el evento.
