“Featuring Arwen's ravishing voice and guitarist Jorge Liceaga's supple accompaniment, Cascada de Flores bring intoxicating energy to the Latin American songbook” Andrew Gilbert, San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News
Tonight, a quartet of strings will celebrate Mexican independence day, while recognizing that music, art and humanity flows without borders: they will
bring together a wide variety of genres (boleros, bambucos, rancheras, trova yucateca, danzón, chilenas, regional sones to name a few) with a dizzying number of traditional instruments, such as violín, guitarras, jaranas, vihuela, basses, donkey's jaw bone and percussive dance. And there will surely be audience participation!
